IFE11 Excel, London - We had a great time at the IFE11 Trade Show, meeting old and new friends and often being 3 people deep at the stand – not that this is unusual! The message is getting through, though, with many Food Service and Manufacturing enquirers becoming open to the idea of using natural, high quality mountain rock salt as the healthy option in their recipes. Hurray! Get Salty!

Hello Friends,

I import all my Pink Himlayan Salt from the North of Pakistan. As you know the floods there are causing one of the worst disasters in memory, they say it is bigger than the tsunami, Haiti and Hurricane Katrina put together. As well as having their homes and farms devastated, these traumatised people are now facing epidemics of Cholera and Typhoid, and the waters are still moving forward, south, through the country. These people were not victims a few weeks ago, they were ordinary folk, like you and me, just getting on with their daily lives . . .

Some donations might never reach them: there is confusion about how to give and be sure the money will not just disappear. “Plan” is an organisation which has a huge experience in offering help to all sorts of countries through its medical, educational and practical programmes, during both normal times and disasters. It aims to help communities to help themselves and focuses on the children – their future, enabling them to build better lives for themselves and their families as they grow up. I believe that Plan is completely ethical in its administration and can direct your donations to the most effective use possible.

I now have new stock of all my superb products which can be seen at the Salt Seller Showroom. Over 200 specially hand picked, beautiful lamps have just been delivered and can be seen at the showroom.
